Has anyone upgraded to the new processor in the past year? Not sure G2 would be the correct description for the processor, but it was after the original. Thanks,
Dale

We supplied many upgrade kits to our distributors which were taken up quickly last year.
However, the G2 uses a graphics chip from Fujitsu and the factory where this chip is made got completely wiped out by the Tsunami in Japan.
This caused some serious tap dancing at MGL as we scrounged the warehouses of the World to find any and all of these chips at whatever cost.
We stopped the supply of upgrade kits to ensure suffient supply for current production. Fujitsu moved the manufacturing of this chip to a new facility but it took time to get this done. The chip is now back in production and we have in fact yesterday received the first batch of G2 processor boards from our contract manufacturer using the new chip.
So all is back to normal.
