I have also added the Sandia user and installation manuals.
The short manual shows how to wire up the STX165R to an iEFIS and how to configure the system and use the transponder (pretty simple).
The document is also valid for the Odyssey/Voyager G2 - only the operation differs due to lack of a touch screen....
The Sandia STX165R remote control transponder is nice, simple and cheap. It is mode-A/C and for that reason cannot be used in airspaces that mandate use of a mode-S.
Those that need the mode-S, the interface for the Garrecht remote unit should be ready for shipping in two weeks approximately. I will release a seperate manual for the Garrecht.
We should also have a software update for the XTreme shortly with support for both transponders making the XTreme EFIS even more interesting...
Operation of both the remote control STX165R and Garrecht are verified using a certifed AeroFlex IFR-6000 transponder test set so there is no uncertainty in this regard.
