This is a short note to inform potential future customers of MGL Avionics products that at current we are experiencing lead times ranging from two weeks to over three months depending on product from date of order to shipping. The lead time varies depending on the product ordered. Generally, EFIS's have the longest lead times.
Many of our distributors can offer shorter lead times as they may order ahead.
The reason for this unfortunate situation is that demand for our products World wide has outstripped our capability to grow production volume in accordance.
We are addressing the situation and have increased our staff by 50% in the last three months and are now busy negotiating for the purchase of a new, larger factory which will allow us to employ even more staff.
If you are contemplating any of our products, please check with your local distributor for stock and ensure that you place your orders as early as possible.
From a factory standpoint, we are maintaining waiting lists for our products on a first come, first serve bases. We do not require any payment until the product is ready for shipping and even then if you decide you don't want to take your order - no problem, the list simply moves up one notch.
Please note that local distributors may have a different policy and may require a deposit to secure placement of an order.
