I have uploaded G2 version 1.0.0.2 (simulator and binary) to the MGL Avionics website (www.MGLAvionics.co.za).
This update concerns two items:
1) Autopilot
This version contains the new "artificial intelligence", neural net based autopilot algorithms that we have been working on in the past months. Flight tested and signed off.
These new algorithms continuously measure your aircraft's responses to control inputs and adapt future control inputs accordingly in order to fly your aircraft perfectly in changing conditions (OK, it's a little more complex than this but this is the bottom line).
2) Vertical Power VP-X
Vertical Power will be releasing their new VP-X electronic circuit breaker box at S&F. This gives up to 31 circuit breakers, roll and pitch trim and flap control and a few things more. The VP-X is entirely controlled via the EFIS unlike Vertical Power's other products and so no additional panel space for a screen is required. Cheaper too.
This release contains support for the VP-X including a new, easy to use script editor (to configure the way you want to setup the VP-X) as well as emulation of the VP-X in the simulator.
