A couple of months ago we got the bad news that a vital chip used in our Enigma VSTN display was out of production with no replacement in sight.
This caused a bit of panic but we accelerated the MKII development of Enigma to bridge the short fall.
We have redesigned every little bit of electronics inside Enigma.
We also designed a brand new TFT screen together with our LCD panel producer and this one rocks !
Super wide viewing angles with up to 1800 nits brightness and gorgeous colors and contrast - yet our new Enigma consumes no more power than previously.
The second major change with the Enigma MKII is the ability to support a high speed, very wide range airspeed indicator that is good for about 28mph to 600 mph. This is an optional item (no additional cost, but specify when ordering) that can be choosen over our normal speed sensor which gives you 16mph to 250mph.
Current Enigma MKI units can be upgraded to the new screen and ASI if desired at very reasonable cost, should you wish to do so - contact your distributor.
