Hi all,

I just noticed an oil leak on my governor around something that I think is an adjustment screw (see picture). The governor is McCauley DC290D1. I couldn't find any manuals online, would anyone happen to have one? Or does anyone have any advice on how to deal with the leak?

Found this: https://mooneyspace.com/topic/17652...il-leak-question/?tab=comments#comment-475451. It has a service instruction inside. At least it doesn't seem to be too complicated if I can find the parts.

Actually thinking about it it may be that the locking nut is not tight (since I was able to move the plug), hm.

McCauley governor oil leak

Any luck with the above repair. I've got the same leak. Found it after governor overhaul. Back to the repair shop once already and still leaking.
