Hi. I worked a lot on my sliding canopy but had to stop due to cold coming. So, I could not see where it ends when fully moved aft.
I have now to install COMM antenna and would like to avoid errors. So, I loooked at plans and at a completed RV6 and noticed that I may install antenna just aft of the joint of the tail cone skins.
Am I right or should I leave more clearance?
Thanks.

I would wait and see

Installation of antennas is such a simple task that there is no time advantage in doing it early. Mine are bent whips on the bottom of the fuselage under the seat pan but if you need to put it on top I would just wait until the canopy installation is complete.

Thanks

Thank-you, Bob.
Actually, I will mount two of them. One on top and one under the bottom.
I passed coaxials. I will wait for the antenna holes...
