For any of you out there using the Matco MCR-100 Brake Fluid Reservoir, can you tell me how you deal with the vent hole overflow in the cap when bleeding the brakes from the bottom up? Seems like it might be a PITA - just curious ...

Use the vacuum method; works great and no mess.
