Under the section titled "Fitting the tank to the wing" there is a line that says, "Drill the three bolt holes on the inboard bracket on the main spar". I'm not sure what bracket this is referring to. I think it is the inboard attach angle. The one that has a blank flange. But the instructions have always called this an attach angle, not a "bracket".

Can someone confirm for me that this line refers to match drilling the inboard most attach angle using the middle hole of the plate-nut holes that are pre-drilled in the main spar.

That is the bracket (angle) it is referring to. Be sure it is securely held in place otherwise it might push up and out a bit during drilling.

Yup - try not to use too much pressure on the bit, so the angle doesn't move around.
