I did a short flight to a remote airport the other day and shut off engine, got out walked around, and when I went to leave, the engine wouldn’t crank. Battery voltage showed a fluctuating 9V and electric fuel pump sounded anemic. I removed top cowl to check if battery terminal wiring was loose and everything looked good. I gave the Master Relay a rap with a screw driver handle for good measure, replaced top cowl, and engine fired up beautifully. Three additional flights have been nominal.

I suspect the Master Relay got hung up and did not pull in correctly. Airplane has 800TT. I am purchasing a new Cole Hersee 24115-BK solenoid and will replace soonest…
