Ok. I am this close to sending back the cable and a check and going with electric trim. I was planning to slid the cable through all the holes/grommets installed except now I find these two nuts are to big to fit and I can't get them off without disassembling the end piece.....black rubber thingy in the way.
any heads up please..

Manual Trim Install

I believe the rubber dust covers will slip off so you can remove the large jam nuts. They do on my engine control cables. Good luck and fly safe...

yep pull off the rubber boots. then put them back on after you're done routing the cable. the process of removing the boots and reinstalling them takes about 30 minutes....oops strike that....3 minutes, the 30 minutes includes drinking a cold beverage after you're done.
