trim cable

Thanks John: The minor problem I am having is I had a carbon fiber overlay done to my panel. I did not know at the time that the trim cable goes through the panel. The panel is all in , wired up and running. The people that did the panel said they use a special cutter to cut the holes in the panel, there is no way I am taking it out and sending it back just because of the trim cable. If nothing else I will just use electric trim. So I am kinda looking to see if anyone has put the trime cable in a location other than through the panel...

you going with fixed or constant speed? Im going with fixed pitch and was planning on using the prop control on the throttle quadrant for pitch trim, but I ended up going with electric trim... just an idea. Not sure how much friction is need at the control but there are ways to introduce some friction other than at the quadrant if that is a concern.
