The plans only show routing through the various bulkheads but it looks like people run it into the left gear tower top cutout and out
again by the throttle quadrant.

But there are only three holes in the gear tower by the quadrant (-1 kit), presumably for the throttle, mixture and prop controls.

I'm reticent to drill another hole in the gear tower without checking
first. It looks like you could just loop it through 180 degrees without
going into the tower and just tie it in with a few cable ties.
Any suggestions?

Well I can tell you that I have put another hole in formation with the three already there for the engine cables. I made some kind of angled washer so that the cable neatly angles over into the gear tower and then does the 180 so that it goes toward the tail along the left side. I saw this washer trick on someones web site, I dont remember whos right now but I think if I remember I used a piece of PVC pipe cut and painted to match. Hope this helps. or at least gets your gears turning.
cheers!

Thanks Jeremy,

I ended up doing much the same. I had seen reference to the bevelled washers, but the cable run seems reasonable without them, and they can be retrofitted if neccesary without removing the cable.

Just waiting for finish and FWF kits to arrive now.
