J JDA_BTR Well Known Member Mar 30, 2018 #1 Fitting this on firewall with the 30A transducer. Garmin kit. The fit with the rubber nipple leave just a few threads to start. Does the nipple act as a seal? I think I should put permatex sealant on the threads...... what?s right?
