Had not been able to start trouble shooting the issues with the (vans MP guage), I happened to be looking at the guage as I was transmitting position on approach to a ap, the guage went down each time I transmitted. A long transmission would take it to zero. An RV8 builder told me he had some "gremlins" like this, and had to shield the wire to his guages affected. Also I used my ICOM handheld and it had the came affect on the MP guage as my panel com..... how do you like that....
