I?m installing the Dynon manifold pressure sender unit. I have a Vans FWF kit that includes the manifold pressure hose VA119 that will go from cylinder #3 to the firewall. According to an old Matronics post, one of the Vans drawings showed where the FW penetration hole should go but I can?t find the drawing. I don?t have the engine hung yet but would like to install the FW bulkhead connector and the sender unit close by. If there isn?t a drawing showing where to penetrate the FW, does anyone have recommendations for an RV9A and Lyc O320? The only real issue is that the hole and AN bulkhead fitting must be within reach of the VA119 hose.

This is an RV-7 but as far as I know the firewall is the same on the -9.

Thanks Pete, looks like about 2 1/2" directly below the bottom of the brake resevoir on a 7/9A.
