Is it normal for the main wheels to be canted in (vertically) so that the bottom of the wheel is inboard of the top of the wheel?

My engine should be arriving here any minute! Took the afternoon off work to take delivery :)

Yep, its normal. Try looking at the drawings that show the Main Gear Leg Fairings and the Main Wheel Fairings Installation. You should see a couple of details with the wheel / axle and the relationship to the contact angle with the pavement. The angle is not specified, but you will see that the wheel / tire is canted.

This means....

.....that you should check the wear patterns and flip the tires on the rims when you see an obvious inner wear pattern to extend the life of your tires.

They'll wear much faster on the outside because when you land, they're dangling from the gear, with an even greater angle and slide on the outside portion as you touch down.
