I'm working on the out board bottom skins of a 9 QB wing.
I want to machine countersink the main spar flange. The LE skin is already riveted on. How do you keep the Countersink cage square against the spar flange with the LE skin in the way?

Thanks

Jeff,
I you will have to either find or make a countersink cage with part of the foot removed.
I don't know if I have any extras or not.

How about a small piece of aluminum, the thickness of the installed skin, with a hole cut in it, to allow the cage to sit on top. Then just butt this up to the installed skin & set the depth deeper.

That would be my vote, right there.
