Geoff

I've installed blast tubes to point at my P-mags, as recommended in the P-mag manual. However, I can't come up with a scheme (that I like) to hold the lower ends of the tubes so they point in the appropriate places. Everything I've tried seems really cheesy and/or not likely to last very long. It also seems very likely that my tubes will rub on the engine mount in one or more places.

Does anyone have a picture of how you anchored the lower ends of your mag blast tubes?

Thanks.

Blast Tubes.

Hi Geoff,

You could use a piece of wire inside the tube, then bend it at whatever angles required.

However, I used a heat gun on the plastic blast tubes to shape where I wanted them pointing, and that worked great.

We used high-temp RTV and made a nice thick bead on the outer edge of the blast tube and used string to hold it in place until it dried. 200 hours later and still holding postion.
