P PaigeHoffart Well Known Member Oct 11, 2015 #3 If it were me, I'd order a new rib. Your proposed fix will have no shear strength. The only acceptable repair that comes to mind is trimming off the flange and replacing it with a patch riveted to the rib. Not worth it IMHO. Paige
