Hey All,

I have a lead on some M27500-18ML2T08 for a good price. I understand it to be 18 AWG Shielded and was thinking of using it for my mag P-Lead wiring.

What is this stuff? Is it suitable for my application?

I see that ACS sells MIL C-27500 instead.

Is this stuff comparable? A reasonable facsimile?

I can't find the specs for it online anywhere. Can anyone offer any advice?

Puzzled...

The full "decoder ring" is here....

The spec you have is not the usual tefzel stuff

MIL-W-27500-A-xx-TE-*-zz
xx = wire gauge
TE = standard tefzel 22759/16 wire (the stuff we usually use)
* = Shield type
zz = Jacket type (14, 15, 64, 65 are good here...)

(TE may also be TG)

Perhaps an easier to follow decoder ring...

Gil,

I think it really isn't worth it to experiment for chump change.

I am going to order the specified stuff from ACS.

Thanks for the reply!
