After a protracted bit of effort with one vendor for an O-320 parts catalog, I ordered it from Lycoming. Lycoming included a letter dated Feb 1, 2012 listing the Lycoming book numbers which refer to the various O-320 engines. These are all PC-203-n where n is as follows:

1 for the -A2B, -A3B

2 for the -A2C, -A2D

3 for the -E1A, -E2A

4 for the -E1F, -E2F

5 for the -E2B, -E2C

6 for the -E2D, -E3D

7 for the -E2G only

8 for the -E2H, -E3H

9 Rev A for the -B2B, -B2C, -B3B, -D1A, -D1D, -D1F, -D2A, -D2B, -D2C, -D2G, -D2J, -D3G. The parts manual cover describes it as the -B and D Series.

The easy way

FYI,
You can find all that info and much more in Lycoming Service Letter SL L114AU and Supplements #1 & #2 to that Service Letter. These documents are available for free download from Lycoming's web site at:

http://www.lycoming.textron.com/support/publications/service-letters/pdfs/SL114AU.pdf

http://www.lycoming.textron.com/support/publications/service-letters/pdfs/SL114AU-S-1.pdf

http://www.lycoming.textron.com/support/publications/service-letters/pdfs/SL114AU-S-2.pdf

These documents give you the part number and current revision of the Parts Catalogs, Operators Manuals and other documents relating to all Lycoming Engines, plus pricing and an order form.

In the future, save yourself some grief and refer to these documents first.
