Lycomings are held togther with dozens of nuts secured with toothed lock washers. Do these have to be replaced every time a nut is removed and replaced?

You can get "official" ones from Lycoming... but can get reprints from Essco (http://www.esscoaircraft.com/). There's an operator's manual and parts catalog.. probably should get both (definitely parts catalog)... Just make sure you get the right one.. if your engine is wide deck carburated, then you want PC-306 parts catalog... there's tons of 'em so just make sure you get the one that matches your engine.

I thought so but just checking.

PS - Where can I get an official manual for my Lycoming O360-A1A?
