Howdy everyone. I bought my finishing kit planning to use the IO360-A1B6 engine and I want to use Van's FWF kit for the same. I am curious if it is posible to buy new parts to duplicate the engine sold by Vans myself from scratch?
I figure I will find a used engine at some point and do the overhaul, but if possible, building a new engine would be preferred. I wish we could buy engine kits and build them ourselves like the rest of the aircraft.
Any idea if Vans or Lycoming has a build sheet or parts list detailing everything used in the Vans offered -A1B6 engine?
