Is there a guide on Lycoming con rod casting numbers? I have just purchased some replacement rods for an O-235 however one rod is a different casting number, all rods have been overhauled to crest part number 78030. If rebuilding an matching rod weights when the engine is built is there any concern of different factory rod weights being mixed? Or is this only a field service concern?
