Hi All,

I am in need of the CAD or mechanical drawings of the popular Lycoming engines, O-320, O-360, O-390 and the O-540.
If any one knows of a way to obtain them it will be appreciated.

Not a real CADD model but can be translated into many application with limited usefulness. Also no idea of it's accuracy.

Paul's colorful summary describes the subject pretty well. They aren't called Lycosaurus for nothing!

Lycosharas never had CAD...

Although they did use a spreadsheet to determine it would be cheaper to outsource everything except assembly and connecting rods in the early 90's.

Try Superior, at least for the 4-cyl. engines.

Van's has one if you follow the series on designing and building the -10. They developed a solid model in order to design the cowling. Wish I could get my hands on it...
