Had good experience with Lubbock Aero at KLBB.

Also have heard good things, but not experienced firsthand, about Lubbock Executive.

I think this is a west Texas thing -- everyone is really friendly and helpful.

Even Texans seem to make fun of Lubbock (KLBB), but I had to overnight there once due to weather. The FBO, Uber driver and diner I ate at were all great. Enjoyed my unplanned stop. John

I think only Mac Davis really dislikes Lubbock. I have to defend Lubbock since I was made an honorary citizen of Lubbock back in 2004 :)

I flew out of there for a couple years when I flew the hospital helicopters based there and Lubbock in general was a nice place to be. Just don't go into the areas where they used to film COPS :D
