How important is it to have the manufacture head of the LP4 rivet on the F-01204D-1 side per 21S/U-3 step 3? I noticed i went the wrong direction after completing 21iS/U-11 step 5 except in that step it says “where possible” . Should i pull them all out? Thanks!

if clearance will not be a problem with the shop end the rule book says either way is equally strong but it also says your peers will judge you harshly if your form is contrary to popular opinion.

I go with this order:

1. If Vans calls it out, there is a reason, just do it.
2. Put the Manufactured head on the side with the thinnest material.
3. If it ever has to be drilled out, which way provides the best access?
4. Which direction makes it easiest to install?
5. Shop head aft or down.
