Like many others, I was somewhat apprehensive about whacking and twisting my lower longerons.

I reviewed a number of build sites and couldn't find a really good step by step guide on how to whack and twist the lower longerons, so I did mine tonight and placed the steps on mykitlog over three different entries.

For those nearing this stage, it's by no means perfect, but my lower longerons turned out pretty good.

I hope this can be useful for any others getting to this part.

Cheers,

Don

Looks good. You must have really wacked that angle pretty hard with that rubber mallet. I had to use a real hammer. I deformed the vertex a bit but was able to smooth it out with the scotchbrite wheel.

Cool

Wish this info was around about 3 1/2 years ago, good addition to the information database.
