Hi all-
Phase I is complete! Got my gear leg, upper intersection fairings, and wheel pants complete and installed. Now looking to get the lower intersection fairings in. Have Bob's fairings from Fairings Etc. Here is my question.
Has anyone installed the lower intersection fairings with screws and nutplates as opposed to fairing them in with flox and glass? In my case, it will be a lot more difficult to fair the lower fairings in. Are there any consequences other than cosmetic if they are screwed in?

Thanks to all who respond.

A little more drag possibly..

...but no real downside other than the extra expense of nutplates and screws.
It's easy to hold them in place and drill holes for clecos while the glass/flox cures. They look good fully filled and very low drag.
