I saw Up North Aviation's ad for fuel cap engraving here on VAF classifieds and had them do mine. I love to pass on my thanks in the form of recommendations when work is done well.

I had him do mine and in no time I had a proof to approve and a couple days after that I received these:

I have no connection with this company other than a satisfied customer. The ad is pretty old now, here is the link to save anyone from having to look for it http://www.upnorthaviation.com/fuel-cap-engraving.html

Another engraving option

Bill's Custom Engraving did my fuel caps. I also purchased a spare fuel cap from him that was engraved. The website (below) shows the locking "Newton" caps as an option for engraving.

Like the OP, "I have no connection with this company other than a satisfied customer."

I just dropped my RV-6 off for painting by Prestige Aircraft at KFSO way up on the VT/Quebec border. Bill of Up North Aviation shares space with Prestige and he'll be engraving the fuel caps. Looking forward to finally "finishing" the project. I'll let everyone see how it turns out.

Add my name to the list of satisfied customers. Bill is super friendly and a pleasure to do business with. Great communication and fast work (Less than one day and they were on their way!)

Thanks Bill!

Up North Aviation

Gladly adding my name to the list of satisfied customers for Up North Aviation. I was looking for engraved fuel caps and found this post, but they also advertise here on VAF.

From their website you just pick a template (10 to choose from) and send Bill the text you want on the caps. Mine were ready in about two days - can't beat that.

My plane is flying, but if I were building I would not hesitate to use Bill for cutting my panel also. Great service.

Here is a photo of my caps:
