Called Lord for part no for my rv-6, 0-320b3b conical mount and was given two numbers J-1552 and J-6230-1 which is a kit. I The rep said for me to use the kit my engine case would need pins next to the mounting bosses. My case doesn't have any pins there that I can see. Does this mean I have to use the 1552 isolators? I think the rep said the kit was an improvement. And if I have to use the 1552 does anyone have a good (cheapest) source for them? And is this isolator an improvement over what is sold at Van's? Thanks in advance Jim.

I used the J-6230-1 mounts... the pin doesn't go on the engine case, but is a locator pin hole on the engine mount itself...Look on your engine mount and you (should) see a small hole next to the bolt hole on each pad... This is where the (1/8" dia. I beleive) short pin goes in to orientate the Lord mount.. All 4 are in a different clock posistion... I used these on my 0-360 conical mount on my 6A... worked out great!
