Hi everyone;
Can anyone help me please with some TruTrack ADI II autopilot stuff for my RV7? It’s the control unit with the two buttons on what looks like an attitude indicator.
My altitude hold isn’t holding correctly. It wants to on the ground but just a bit of pressure fore/aft on the stick and it lets go. And yes…I have already changed the shear screw and the connections look fine. Roll and gps tracking still function perfectly. Just the altitude hold won’t grab.
Not sure if it’s the control head unit or the pitch servo. My current avionics guy sucks and basically has no time or just doesn’t want to do it, so I’m on my own. I’m really hoping to just swap out either component and be back in business.
