Does anybody have their cowl and a tape measure handy? I'm looking to order some aluminum to make the attach strips for the cowl fasteners.

I need to know the length of the split between top and bottom of a vans 9A cowl. I bet it is the same as a 7a cowl. I don't have a cowl yet to measure.

On my uncut 7 cowl, it looks like roughly 32" per side.

My installed -9A cowl is 32" from firewall flange to the forward most portion of side hinge.
