i have a generic industrial model made by CSI. it is slightly bigger - size of a book,
can balance anything that rotates and vibrates - basic physics is the same. plus
shows spectrum for vibration analysis. for half the price
Hi Felipe,
I own one and the unit works well, very well actually. I bought a "Classic" model at EAA/OSH several years ago after speaking with Steve Sennett at their Dynavibe booth. Get the "bracket packet kit" and "case adapter kit" if you are going from aircraft to aircraft. Can't go wrong with their hardware kit as well. That hardware cost adds up quick, unless you already have an AN/MS inventory of hardware. You'll mostly use 1/4" stuff on Lycoming starter ring gears and 10/32 stuff on Continental powered applications.
You can purchase a unit directly from the manufacturer: https://www.rpxtech.com/store-fixed-wing.html
Steve Sennett who heads sales there is super helpful and knowledgeable. Outstanding product support.
