The first thing the guy complains about is that his RV-3 has a passenger warning placard even though it's single seat. Well, someone has missed the boat because a single seat homebuilt is not required to have the passenger warning placard. This is because...wait for it....there are no passengers!! :p

Cheers!

Joe,
It depends on how old his operating limitations are.
The regs "used" to require the "Passenger Warning" placard for single seat aircraft.
When I built my Moni Motorglider in the early '80s it was required.

Upon further investigation, It appears that Mr. Hirschman's RV-3 was licensed in February of 2001, so the "Passenger Warning" was not required.
