Our “Peanut” always flies with us. He has logged over 350 hours in the past 2 years. He has a Instagram page #aviatorpeanut also on Facebook at #aviatorpeanut.
I haven't flown with my dog (yet), but I do suggest considering something to help protect their hearing. If it's loud for you, it's loud for them, too.

Peanut wears a happy hoodie for flying. I heard the ear muff style don’t give good protection and fall off. The Happy Hoodie was recommended by a groomer as what she used because of the noise from the clippers.
We are at 52F every one of my days off, he’s 92 pounds (thanks to Walt Aronow’s treats) and I was wondering how to get him in the 8. Have to guard the control section obviously. Anyone fly with their buddy in a tandem?
My 45-pound lab-y mutt fits perfectly in the cargo area of my RV-12. Just enough room for him to either sit and look out the window, or curl up and attempt to nap on top of my day pack.
Checking out the cargo area of an RV-12is at the airport – he'd still fit but would probably be less comfortable given the geometry of the fuel tank.
