I notice that the lead times have once again increased for the wings and fuselage kits. Wings are now 16 weeks, fuselage are 15 weeks. Only good news is that the finishing kit has reduced to 9 weeks. This is going to be a long boring wait for my next kits.

I've been waiting for a wing kit since mid Jan. Still no word on if I will be able to pick it up next week before I travel on vacation.

I'll place my fuselage order when I pick up the wings.

On the plus side, lots of things got done around the house.

Heard that Van's is up to #385 on the 12. Thought it was hard waiting for the next kit to be announced. Not so. The 12 is so popular you have to order all of the kits at the SAME time now. Van could not be happier!! All are now seeing that the 12 is just phenomenal with a bunch of them flying.

Picked up my wings Friday. Saw lots of kits being shipped while I waited to have mine loaded.

Once again, I'm amazed at the job Van's does with the packing.

Van's catching up with demand

Seems they're getting over it now. As of this morning the lead times for wing and fuse kit dropped back to 12 weeks.
