Per forum suggestions I've gor 241 on her left side on the workbench. However I've run into two places (stall warning hookup and OAT probe) where I need access to the left side so am considering the padded sawhorse approach. My guess is to put the sawhorses at the frames Van's recommended for the upright position-- is that what tose of you who put the fuselage on its side did?

Got the reed switches to work finally-- one problem wwas that the hole for the swithc on the right side did not line up with the hole in the latch plate by 1/4 inch. Drilled new hole and got the switch close enough to the pin to work but the switch closes if the pin is against the latch plate, not just when it's all the way through. At least the engine will start this way.
