On Sunday Radomir and Tad, both -7A builders, came by and helped me install the wings on my -9.
The only problem we encountered was that the aft spar brackets (where they stick out of the fuselage, not on the wing) had to be filed so the top was 1/8" closer to the fuselage than the bottom. This allows the wing, with its significant dihedral to be installed.
I'll probably drill the aft spar some time before the end of the week, maybe.
I say maybe because I stopped by ADF and picked up the finishing kit box after work and I need to inventory the parts and get the box out of the garage so my wife can get her trucklet back in there.
I now feel like I own an airplane.
