Need to build another RV-10 rudder after some damage at Oshkosh. Anyone know how to determine a valid labor rate for an insurance estimate? Also need to check my build logs when I get back but if anyone has their build hours for the rudder handy I would appreciate it. Know it varies quite a bit.

Similar situation with an aileron a few years back. I just called the local shop and asked their shop rate, and used that.

Since I'm in L.A., it was a bit high, and we negotiated to a somewhat more reasonable rate, but the starting point was what the local A&P shops were charging.
