We are just trying to show the folks that there is an airport in town. We are only 1.5 mi outside of town and yet it might as well be 150. Our hope is to draw positive attention to the airport and what our chapter is about and hopefully get someone whether they are 8 or 80 interested in aviation. Granted the SARL involvment would be great,we are trying to do this as all things start, small, volunteer,simple. We are trying to just showcase EAA, our chapter,and what the airport is about and has to offer.
