There's a lot happening with my 7A project this month:
My hangar rental got bought out, so we moved from 52F's northwest side to a new rental on the northeast side. My friends at MarcAir Aviation (esp Glenn Harrington) generously offered to tow KELLI GIRL to the new hangar. This was a real motivator, because it's the first time I've seen her from a distance: She really looks like an airplane now.
Seeing the light of day...
Glenn pulls KELLI GIRL out of her old hangar...
A quick hero shot...
On the way to the new hangar...
KELLI GIRL tucked into her new den. My brother-in-law Tony Malley welcomes her home.
In addition, the flaps and ailerons are now mounted...
I may have her ready for Mel's airworthiness blessings come April. Won't be long now!
