Would any of you users have the K & N number for the filter element used on Van's standard air box for a IO360 A1B6 200 HP installation ? Thanks for your help.

Thanks Greg. During a hot start, I had a BIG backfire, and the force distorted my filter. Hopefully I can find one locally to replace it.

slight thread drift.....air & oil filter data

...just read a thread on the toyota tundra forum; a guy tried K&N, Amsoil foam, stock OEM and off-road paper filters, and found that some of the high-flow was at the expense of trapping dirt.....there was much more 'metal' in his oil filter, implying, scientifically or otherwise, that abrasives were wearing the insides of the engine at a greater rate.
........always something else to consider eh?

John, I had hoped to find a filter at a local auto parts store at a lower price than Van's offers. BUT...... it's not one they stock and would have to special order it..... at a cost of $46.00 !!! Van's is $29.00. Guess I'll just wait and pay the shipping. HMMMMMM....... let's see, there must be something else I can order from the catalog.
