I know I am kindov doing this out of order but I just placed an order for a set of Jeffs Nav lights from his website. The look and simplicity of them is what had me sold. I am wondering if anyone is running these now and what they take is on them. Thanks alot

I have them David. I'm not flying yet, but they are installed and operating. They are SUPER bright, and look fantastic. You'll love em! Don't be alarmed at how long it takes to get them tho...

I built my own using information from Jeff. I'm not sure I saved much by doing that--and I certainly spent more time. Fun though.

Anyway, I've been using them for about 140 hours so far and they have been flawless. I don't know if I used the exact same LEDs as Jeff, but mine are bright enough to be a benefit while taxiing after dark. They illuminate the area by the wingtips somewhat, giving me a second chance to see any obstacles.
