Reminded me of this movie line that older folks will recognize:

What's the weather like out there? "It's hot. Damn hot! Real hot! Hottest things is my shorts. I could cook things in it. A little crotch pot cooking."
Well, can you tell me what it feels like. "Fool, it's hot! I told you again! Were you born on the sun? It's damn hot! I saw - It's so damn hot, I saw little guys, their orange robes burst into flames. It's that hot! Do you know what I'm talking about."
What do you think it's going to be like tonight? "It's gonna be hot and wet! That's nice if you're with a lady, but it ain't no good if you're in the jungle."

I miss Robin Williams!

We don't have an AC. Never needed one till this year. We have always managed just fine by opening the upstairs windows at night. This week has been tough. We did manage 64 in the bedroom and 69 in the main area last night with fans in the windows. The lower we can get it, the more comfortable during the heat of the day. Unfortunately we can't open the ground level area overnight because bears can break in. 90s up here are unusual till this year. Come on rain!
Life in the mountians.

Time for Monsoons here in Tucson. Happy to have it. Was 107 for a good stretch in June. Expected since I live in the desert but gets old, fast.

It has been getting into the 90's here all week. If it were not for Canada burning down, it would be hot and sunny. So, it is just smokey and hot. So smokey it burns your throat when you go outside.

It's 93°F at 75% relative humidity....noteworthy here in northern Minnesota. Most of us are more comforatable at -30° F.

At least the smoke cleared out.
