The only thing left to do is to hang the "Family Tree" photo over the HDTV (where the out-of-character Piper Cub rib is shown hanging in the pix).

I'm having that big ol' 60" photo dry-mounted, and every RV pilot that attends our Mustang Beach Shrimp Boil Fly-In on Saturday, May 3rd will have the opportunity to autograph it next to their type RV.

This is our most beautiful room yet, IMHO, and it will truly show off the RV line of aircraft to the general public (who make up 95% of our guests). We are really, really proud of the way it turned out!

C'mon down and see it! We'll give you the nickel tour for free! (Assuming it's not occupied, of course...)
:D

You do know Vlad visits this site right?:D

If he doesn't respond to this post my guess is he is airborne to Texas!

Vlad,

Stop into Jay's and pick up the RV 1 print, bring it up here for a signature on your way to the Aleutians. I'll see that you get the usual free sandwich and Harley for your trouble. :D

A distillery? Nope.

15 miles of white sand beach, 350 days of VFR flying, cool ocean breezes, and a dozen bars within walking distance? Yep!

C'mon down!

Okay, now the room is REALLY done!

Okay -- now the room is REALLY done!

Pictured below are the last two pieces of artwork to adorn the new Van's RV Room. First, the "Family Portrait" that we asked fly-in attendees (who flew RVs) to autograph near their type of aircraft... It looks great!

And finally, I had one of the blueprint pages that the builder of OUR RV-8A (christened "Amelia") used back in the late '90s, early 2000s dry-mounted and framed. I think it's a perfect commemoration for a great airplane!

Thanks to those who helped create this room! It's certainly my favorite, of the 23 different aviation themes.
