What a 24 hr period. Learned a ton... from filling the brakes (and consquently painting the underside of my wings and floor red from all the brake fluid)... to starting my engine for the first time. It came pretty much right to the day two years ago when Paul and I set the first rivets on the tail.
I absolutely could not have done it without all the great RV help. More specifically Kahuna, Paul, and Subob. My wife wondered why I needed more than just me to do the honors - it was because the guys had to put up with all my stupid newbie tricks.
What's next - buttoning and securing everything... then inspection later this month? (crossing my fingers).
Here's a link to the video (11.7 mb, wmv)
Paying the fuel guy for the first of many times
Kahuna and Paul taxiing out to do a little formation practice
