Statistics can be deceiving.

They state that there was an 11% increase just due to weather. Add in any increase due to cocersion to smaller planes and you may be able to explain the decreased on-time arrival rates.

I would like to see the projected improvement from NextGen using the current hub and spoke system and current aircraft mix (or as adjusted if more small planes are used).

I don't need no stinkin' ADS-B.

There is a solution to air traffic problems without any input from the FAA or a ground station. GPS and the radar transponder work together to provide a solution with smaller packet sizes transmitted on the radar frequencies.

Now there's a name I haven't heard in a while. I attended a forum he did at Oshkosh in the late 90s. As a result of that forum, he was asked not to come back to Oshkosh. The guy is certifiable.
