I drilled through into the counter weight to final size of #10 than realizing the E713 called for a #12.
When dimpled for a #8 screw I am seeing a gap at the root when the bolt is installed.
An issue?







 
These should be dimpled for a #10 screw, not a #8.
They sometimes have you drill nylon blocks for #10 drill size when using #10 3/16") screws, but normally #12 drill is the upper limit for a 3/16" bolt/screw. I normally drill with a #13 then ream to 3/16".

Given where you are from, I'd say to h#!! with it and go skiing.

you are correct # 10 my bad, and yes its dumping outside and the pow is great but home sick and couch building instead.
